Emergency First Aid Training for the Health Care Professional
Basic one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to circulation emergencies for adults, babies and children for the health care professional (CPR/AED Level HCP). Other topics include airway and breathing emergencies, prevention of disease transmission and use of the Bag-Valve Mask (BVM).
Emergency First Aid teaches you how to respond and manage in an Emergency Situation. This is an 8 hour course that is offered multiple times per week and includes basic CPR and AED training.

This course is most suitable for those in a healthcare profession. It is highly recommended for doctors, nurses, paramedics, physicians and those working in a first aid team environment. This level meets all ILCOR guidelines
