Emergency Child Care First Aid with CPR/AED Level B also known as Emergency First Aid Child & Residential Care with CPR/AED Level C
Basic one-day course of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. Course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to circulation emergencies for infants, children, and residents (CPR Level C). In B.C this level was previously known as CPR/AED Level B.
Other topics include airway and breathing emergencies, as well as prevention of disease transmission. Course is designed for those in the early childhood education as well as for parents/caregivers.
